Policies
To contribute to the diffusion of accurate knowledge concerning human health and nutrition, including vitamins, carotenoids, and lipids, as well as protection from ultraviolet rays. 
To provide up-to-date research results and the most recent information to health and nutrition professionals, the medical, pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic industries, the press, etc.
To provide accurate information to consumers by making approaches to the press and obtaining the cooperation of the mass media.
History and Achievements 
June 10, 1981: Establishment of the Vitamin Information Center.
        The First Vitamin Recognition Survey of consumers was conducted. 

May 1982: The First Scientific Lecture Meeting on Vitamin C was held in Tokyo and Osaka. 

July 1983: "The Vitamin Guidebook" was published. 

November 1990: The International Scientific Lecture Meeting on Vitamins was held
            in Tokyo and Osaka in commemoration of the 10th anniversary. 

August 1991: The First Press Seminar was held for reporters. 
          Thereafter this seminar has been held four times a year. 

1999: The Ninth Scientific Lecture Meeting on Vitamins was held.
     The Eleventh Vitamin Recognition Survey was conducted. 

January 2001:  Vitamin Information Center Website was established.
